How mattress trials and returns work in Canada
A sleep trial is a return window that starts on delivery. Most Canadian brands offer between 100 and 365 nights, and most require a short break-in period before a return is accepted.
The break-in requirement
Many brands ask you to sleep on the mattress for roughly 30 nights before requesting a return, because foams soften and bodies adapt over the first few weeks.
What is usually excluded
Stains, damage, removed law tags, clearance units and second returns on the same order are common exclusions. Read the specific policy before ordering.
Pickup and refunds
Most brands arrange pickup or donation rather than asking you to repackage the mattress. Refund timing varies by retailer.
